Since I started painting, I've been in the habit of trying to paint things that seem on the edge of my comfort zone, like things that I'm not sure if I can paint accurately or not. I think it's important to do that. Nearly everything I've painted started with doubt. And most of my paintings, throughout the entire thing, all the way until the end, I'm full of doubt that it will even work out. Out of about 39 paintings, I think I only threw away three. That was before this one, #37.
That may be the hardest part of painting. Continuing while you are full of doubt, having faith that it will turn into something beautiful. Introducing: "Epic Moraine Lake"
